There are many worlds and many systems of Universes existing all at the same time, all of them perishable.

Stargazing @ Jenny Jump

Event Date:
Sat, 06/29/2019 - 8:00pm - 10:30pm

ObservatoryThe NJAG will be at the UACNJ Observatory in Jenny Jump State Forest. This is a free public program. An astronomy presentation begins at 8 p.m. in the lecture hall regardless of the weather.

The guest speaker on June 29 will be Gregg Waldron of the NWJAA astronomy club. His topic will be "Eclipses, Occultations, and Transits." Weather permitting, this will be followed by stargazing with the 14-inch telescope at NJAG-MMAS joint observatory and other telescopes at UACNJ until 10:30 p.m.

With a waning crescent Moon in the sky, this shoudl be a good opportunity to see "deep sky" objects such as galaxies, star clusters and nebula.

For information and directions see: UACNJ.org. Parking is limited; carpooling is encouraged.
