Baker Radio TelescopeThe guest speaker for the June NJAG meeting will be Dr. Andrew Baker from Rutgers University. His presentation will be "Dense Gas in Distant Dusty Galaxies." Dr. Baker's research focuses on the use of radio, millimeter, and submillimeter observations of interstellar matter to probe how galaxy evolution unfolds in the nearby and distant universe.

Monthly meetings of the NJAG are free and open to the public - all are welcomed. Meetings usually feature a presentation about astronomy or space science by an amateur or professional astronomer.

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month (except August); light refreshments will be served. Meeting will be held at Montclair State University in the Center for Environmental and Life Sciences (CELS). This is the relatively new building next to Richardson Hall. NJAG will meet in room 110 on the first floor (this is the room off on the left hand side at the back of the main lobby area). For directions, click on 'Directions' at top of the page.
