crab nebulaThe May meeting of NJAG will feature our annual Student Showcase where students from Montclair State and other local colleges will present projects they have been working on this year. The speakers and their topics are as follows:

  • Joseph David Quinn-Vitabile (Montclair State University): Studying Neutron Star Structure
  • Caia Moonsammy (Montclair State University): Thermal Lensing for 2-micron Wavelength
  • Jacob Yuzovitskiy (CUNY College of Staten Island): Morphology for 4,000 Post-starburst Galaxies 
  • Nina Tormann (University of Scranton): Observing Meteors by Radio
  • Diego Sanchez (University of Scranton): Python Software for Radio-Based Space Weather Detection 

 


Monthly meetings are held at Montclair State University, in the Center for Environmental and Life Sciences or CELS Building, Room 110.
