We will be having our first in-person stargazing event on the fall season this Saturday, Nov. 6  at the Wallsich Homestead in West Milford.
 
Jupiter and Saturn as they will be well placed in the southern sky. We will also be viewing the M57 Ring Nebula, M27 Dumbbell nebula, globular clusters M13, 92, & M15. From there we’ll visit M31 (The Andromeda galaxy) and Perseus Double Cluster. If we’re lucky, we may catch the Pleiades towards the end.
 
The telescope and camera will be projecting the objects on a screen while NJAG gives a guided tour of the night sky. Seatign will not be provided, so bring your own chairs - and warm clothes if its cool.
 

This event is different! If it is cloudy, we will still be able to hold the event! In addition if it is raining, (and only if it’s raining) we will hold the event virtually on Zoom. An announcement will be made that day if we are switching to virtual. If that is the case, see the following link for registration:
