The universe is like a safe to which there is a combination. But the combination is locked up in the safe.

NEAT !!! I GUESS I JUST

NEAT !!! I GUESS I JUST WAS NOT OUTSIDE OR IN THE RIGHT SPOT TO SEE THIS. COOL THAT YOU SAW THIS WITH YOUR OWN EYES AND NOT JUST ON TV LIKE I DID.

I DID SEE THE PLUME OF SMOKE FROM THE WTC COLLAPSE A FEW HOURS AFTER IT HAPPENED. MY BROTHER AND I TOOK A RIDE UP TO VALLEY ROAD IN CLIFTON UP INTO THE CONDO COMPLEX. AND I COULD SEE THE PLUME OF SMOKE AND PARTICLE FOR MYSELF. BUT NONE OF US HAD A CAMERA TO TAKE PICS.

I DID RECORD A LOT OF TV NEWS VIDEO THE FIRST THREE DAYS AFTER THE COLLAPSE. I MIHGT STILL HAVE IT ON VHS TAPE AND STASHED IN MY DRAWER. I HAVE NO DESIRE TO WATCH IT. STILL COME ACROSS A LOT OF 9-11 VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE AND I'VE SEEN ENOUGH !!

I DID SEE THE HALE BOP COMMET WITH MY NAKED EYES AND IT WAS OVER A BRIGHT STREAT LIGHT. TO BAD I LOST INTEREST IN PHOTOGRAPHY FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. I'M INTO IT MORE NOW AND I'M ABLE TO USE DIGITAL CAMS. THERE'S LOTS OF STUFF I CAN DO EASILY WITH DIGICAMS THAT WOULD OF BEEN DIFFICULT AND HIT OR MISS WITH FILM. AND I CAN STORE PICS AND VIDEOS ON A HARD DRIVE INSTEAD OF LARGE CABINETS, ETC.

Sept 11, 2004, Later that night

For several years after 9/11, NYC illuminated the location of the towers with this light display. These aren't the only photos I've taken on the subject. I was very surprised by the brightness even on a clear night. I figured a photo was a good idea.
