Trailside Nature and Science Center (Mountainside, NJ)
Children’s Activities:
- Scavenger Hunt
- Matching Galaxies Game
- “Raider Robotics”
- Fun Science Demos on Light, Gravity, Cosmic Rays, Geology and Meteorites
- “Fantastic Photons”
- Solar Observing (weather permitting)
- Solar System Walk
- Presentations on Black Holes, Strange Exoplanets, and Weird Science!
Evening Activities
7:30 – 10:30 pm
William Miller Sperry Observatory, Union College (Cranford, NJ)
- Observing on two of the largest public telescopes in the Northeast
- At 8 pm enjoy a presentation by AAI member Melinda Callis on “Dark and Weird Space Things”
