Join the NJAG and the Newark Museum for a free viewing event of the transit of Mercury. This is the last time a transit will not occur until 2032. During the event the planet Mercury will cross the face of the Sun.

 

Telescopes equipped with solar filters for safe viewing will be set up at Eagle Rock Park in West Orange, NJ. Drop by anytime between 7:30 am and 1:00 p.m.

 

Where: Eagle Rock Reservation, Crest Drive, West Orange, NJ.
Telscopes will be set up near the observation deck & Sept. 11th Memorial
