Quadrantid Meteor Shower

I think the upcoming Quadrantid Meteor Shower is getting a bit "overhyped" as the best of the year or strongest shower...

A lot of articles & posts are failing to mention that although the shower can be strong, its peak is very brief (only a few hours) and this year falls during daylight for North America. So we'll miss the peak despite the favorable moon phase. The best time to view will be between midnight and dawn Friday morning (Jan. 3).

Well anyway this all may be moot as the weather forecast for Friday morning looks terrible!
