Our speaker for the March Meeting of NJAG will be Dr. Dale Gary, Distinguished Professor at New Jersey Institute of Technology. He will give a presentation about the Owens Valley Radio Observatory, Instruments and Solar Science.

Our speaker for the February Meeting of NJAG will be Jim Bosek from the Vermont Astronomical Society. He will give a presentation about Lunar Exploration during the Apollo program.

Our speakers for the January Meeting of NJAG will be Mary Ducca (Amateur Astronomers Inc) and Donna Harris (NJAG). They will share with us Nightscape Techniques they learned from photographer Stan Honda's workshop at the Rocky Mountain National Park.

Monthly meetings of the NJAG are free and open to the public - all are welcomed. Meetings usually feature a presentation about astronomy or space science by an amateur or professional astronomer. Click "Read More" below for details!

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at 8 p.m. (except August); light refreshments will be served. Meeting will be held at Montclair State University in the Center for Environmental and Life Sciences (CELS). This is the new large white building next to Richardson Hall and Science Hall. NJAG will usually meet in room 110 on the first floor (this is the room off on the left hand side at the back of the main lobby area). Note occasionally when room 110 is not available, we meet in room 207 on the second floor at the top of the stairs.

The guest speaker for the April NJAG meeting will be Dr. Rodica Martin, Assistant Professor of Physics, Mathematical Sciences at MSU.

The guest speaker for the March NJAG meeting will be Dr. Nathaniel Frissell from NJIT.
