Join us on Thursday nights for stargazing with our telescopes (weather permitting). All are welcome! Click "Read More" below for details!

  • WHEN : 8 - 9 PM, Clear Thursdays: 
    January 19 to April 27, 2017 - except for March 9 (Spring Break)
    Telescope nights will start at 7:30 p.m. from kids to see the Moon on Feb. 2, Mar. 2 and Apr. 6
  • WHERE: Telescopes will be set up on campus in front of the Center for Environmental and Life Sciences (CELS) building near Richardson Hall & Science Hall.
  • TO SEE : Constellations, the Moon, planets, star clusters, double stars, nebulae, galaxies, and more.

 

Our telescopes cannot see through clouds! Public Telescope Night will be cancelled if the weather is cloudy, very cold, or very windy (It is considered clear if you can see the moon or ten stars clearly).
