Annual Dinner will be on Sunday, November 2, 2008

This is just a reminder that the North Jersey Astronomical Group's Annual Dinner will be on
Sunday, November 2, 2008, at The Russian Hall in Little Falls, NJ. The start time is 1 PM.

Cost is $28 per person.

Robert Search of Centenary College will speak on "Searching for Life in the Solar System." He will give us a tour of the modern solar system and discuss how spacecraft missions like Cassini are being used to look for the existence of life forms in our neighborhood of space. (There will sometimes be references to science fiction movies.) Mr. Search is currently pursuing his Ed.D. in mathematics and has received Centenary's Distinguished Teaching Award.

 

Dinner will include:

  • Tossed salad
  • Rolls
  • Ziti
  • Red Skin Roasted Garlic mashed potatoes
  • Chicken Marsala
  • Kielbasa and Sauerkraut
  • BBQ spareribs
  • Roasted turkey breast with Gravy Sole stuffed with shrimp and garlic
  • Ice Cream Coffee
  • - Reg and Decaf Soda- pitchers

This is also a good time to show and tell your astrophotography. Please bring your best.

There will be a few Door Prizes.
