The April meeting of the North Jersey Astronomical Group (NJAG) will feature guest speaker Chris Mauro. His presentation will be "The Saros Cycle of Eclipses." This presentation is free and open to the public.
NJAG will be at the Montclair Farmer's Market on Saturday, Nov. 9. Telescopes will be set up for the general public to safely view the Sun from 8 am to 2 pm (weather permitting).
NJAG and the staff of the Newark Museum's Dreyfuss Planetarium will have solar telescopes set up at Eagle Rock Reservation on Monday, May 9 for the rare transit of Mercury.
